ATT Computer Coordinators Networking Group
In 2006, technology representatives from ATT schools started a Computer Coordinators' Networking Group. A project of the Goldman Computer Department, this group of technology experts meets four times a year to discuss what is new in technology and share ideas from ATT schools. In addition, technology projects that would be beneficial to enhancing technology in ATT schools are part of the goals of the group.
Over the years, the group has created a Scope and Sequence Curriculum for Technology, a list of software currently in use in ATT schools, and Online Resources for General Studies. The Online Resources for General Studies is a list of websites that can be useful to teachers and students. This list includes the resource URL, a description of the site, as well as targeted subject areas and grade levels. We have checked that all the sites are current as of the list's creation date. The ATT does not endorse the content of the websites that are listed. As with all computer websites, teachers should carefully review all sites before using with students. Demonstrations of new technologies are part of meeting agendas. The Computer Coordinators' Networking Group is the front line for communication to schools about innovative ideas in educational computing.
